What is the main advantage of selling potatoes through a vending machine?
“There’ s quite a lot to take into account. Especially when the early potatoes are available. We have to quickly cover them with plastic, to ensure that our customers can enjoy them very quickly. But at the same time you will benefit more if you sell them directly. And you will gain more appreciation from the buyer. “
Why did you opt for Vendavid’s vending machines?
“Because they allow our customers to buy a guaranteed fresh product very easily. In this way, the first filled bag is also sold first. At the same time, our potatoes are stored optimally: at the right temperature, ventilated and away from sunlight as much as possible. The customer is never facing an empty vending machine: the machine has a large capacity and will send a message when it needs to be refilled.”
How do you feel about your decision?
“I only regret one thing, that I didn’t opt for two five-layer vending machines. This would allow me to offer more types in each vending machine, because that’s what people are looking for. At the same time, I’m definitely delighted: with the satisfaction and financial added value.”
